A55 & A33, the cameras with translucent mirror - Guest - 08-21-2010 On August 24, along with A580 and A560, Sony will announce the new A55/A33 that has a translucent mirror that does phase detect AF and liveiew simultaneously. No OVF. The mirror can be moved in low-light situations. These cameras are rumored to have very fast fps with AF (10 fps for A55, 16 MP, and 7 fps for A33). Is that a start on new era where one day OVF would be replaced with EVF?
