Close to minimal focusing distance is it still 100mm and f2. 8? So what do you want, a lens to keep its focal length, or no focus breathing? And lenses do NOT keep their f-value when focussing (very) close. Both IF lenses (which this is not) and lenses that move their optics as a block lose f-stops, with the latter it is called the bellows effect.
