RE: RF 15-30mm & RF 24-70mm announced - Brightcolours - 08-28-2019 The EF 16-35mm f2.8 L USM is the best lens out there for its type, so not surprising there is not much of a difference with this new RF lens. The RF 24-70mm f2.8 seems to be a bit better than the EF lens. Lets hope it won't have similar front element coatings, of course. RE: RF 15-30mm & RF 24-70mm announced - Klaus - 08-28-2019 I just hope for Canon that they can manage the QC of the 24-70mm IS. The EF version always struggled in terms of centering quality. RE: RF 15-30mm & RF 24-70mm announced - Brightcolours - 08-29-2019 There was never an EF version with IS :-P RE: RF 15-30mm & RF 24-70mm announced - Brightcolours - 08-29-2019 And your arch-nemisis, the EF 24-70mm f2.8 L USM from 2002, has been superseded MANY years ago (2012). So isn't it about time to stop moaning about that lens? |
