Tamron 11-20f2.8 coming - toni-a - 04-12-2021

Here's the brochure so it's official, how much does it make sense to be happy having made the first 11-20f2.8 when already years ago, Tokina already made a 10-20f2.8 that was actually pretty good ( even better than their own 10-16f28)
What will they claim next? Having made the first full frame 34-61f4

Obviously, my point that was it's not something really innovative, now let's see how it performs in reviews, sarcastically enough I am using Sony 16mmf2.8 with and without wide converter on A6000, both solutions are known to offer at best average optical quality however I am using them for street photography and in low light
At ISO 6400 and higher APS-C sensor noise and applied noise reduction negative effects on image quality are by far higher than the positive effect of a sharp lens

I think you mean ironically, not sarcastically... Probably the Sigma 16mm f1.4 would be a good fit for your APS-C endeavours.

"...released by Tamron in 2021"
Surely would make it even more unique. Smile

Sorry, I'm just being facetious (prolly with mixed success). But I've been praising Tamron too much lately and it's time to equalize a bit.
