The next reviews ... - Klaus - 12-09-2021

Just in case you are wondering about the "silence"

I'm currently finalizing the review of the Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x macro (probably to be published on Monday) and Sigma 100-400mm DN.

The Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 is also here now. Plus 3 Tokinas.

Nice to know, thanks. Smile I think it's been the longest "drought" in recorded history. I still check the site a couple of times every day to see if something crops up. Smile

On the funny side - I just started producing sample images with the macro and struggled with the lighting (I'm not really a macro guy).

Then I thought ... wait a sec ... my GF has a reading light at her bed ...

It was perfect. The opening was just enough to shoot through. ;-)

Just had a weird thought that once, you had a "vintage lens review" series on the Sony NEX (with Leica M and similar fare being put through the paces). At this rate, DSLR lens review would be ready to be reclassified as "vintage gear" very soon. Smile

Well, it's a simple fact that there are no new lens releases for DSLRs anymore from the OEM manufacturers.
At the end of the day, this is reflected in our priorities.

Brilliant.
