Their pricing is as daft as ever: one could get two copies of the Canon 100/2.8 L IS macro for that price, or almost a whole 85/1.2 L II. I fully expect someone to point out that fact to the world, and I wonder if someone will start blathering about "da unique look" or other supposed merits of this primitive 3 element lens...
