Before I didn't use fisheye a lot, however recently after owning one, and using it, I can't but love it.

I am using it more and more often and it allows a lot of creativity.

Just came through this post  where he mentions seven reasons why fisheye lenses are awesome, I can add at least seven others

I need to get me one of these, someday. Using a borrowed 8-15/4L once was pretty fun.

Samyang/rokinon 8mm fisheye is dirt cheap, you won't regret it

I second that, if your not wanting to shoot at less than F8 (F9-11 is optimum) you won't regret the Samyang,  it's images are very sharp and sparkling, but it's real plus is the almost total resistance to flare, even into the sun you get only one or two small points.  It's also very well made. I think Pentax and Nikon models contact with the camera.

  A bargain!

Remember also that at f8 almost everything is always in  focus
