Saw an online classified as 750D plus 18-55 IS STM plus 70-300 IS plus manfrotto tripod plus good backpack for 500$ all under warranty with proof of puchase.
I know such offers don't last long. So one hour later deal was finalized, I can easily sell the remaining gear for 500$ and basically I got it for free.
will be trying it to see how useful it is

Why would it be a bad decision? It is a good camera, much better than your old APS-C camera.
