The company Markus is working for is being shut down and he's one of the employee representatives caring about the social plans etc.
In theory he should get back to (PZ-) business soon but obviously his life is a bit in turmoil. A plan B is not so easy when living on the country-side. The PZ earning can't feed even one full time these days.
