Sigma 8-16 surprises in a positive way, though it's still interesting how well the AF is going to work.

I remember that the AF is supposed to be as fast as on the A33/55.

It is a bit of a pity that there's no APS-C ultra-wide prime out there.

The symmetrical designed wide angles (unlike the retro focus design) have it's problems for FF sensors. But in my opinion, for an APS-C sized Nex-7 sensor, I'm not sure if it can be an excuse...

They are problem even on M4/3, especially color shift, worse than Nex-5n.

Even the old nex-5 was already better than M4/3 with these legacy lenses.

Then I'm happy for Nex-5 and Nex-7... They're not alone in this world of color-shifts...

I wonder if anyone tried using it with an older LA-EA1 adapter. It's an HSM lens after all.

I hope to see this situation rectified sometime. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
