I am not going to link to rumors pages
but it's almost confirmed:
EOS R7 32MP with IBIS, 15/30 fps 4k@60fps dual SD
EOS R10, 24MP
18-45 f3.5-5.6
18-150 f3.5-6.3
looks interesting, now I would be interested with R10 if it has IBIS, but I expect it won't they will just add stabilisation to the kit lens...
I expect 18-45 to be collapsible and tiny

RIP Canon-m mount.
Classic APS-C move: slow zooms...
Given the 1.6x crop factor, I still don't get why Canon persists with 18mm at the wide angle. They should design standard zoom starting at 16mm, not 18mm.

I reckon it was inevitable. Probably just a rehousing of their latest M stuff.
But the same problem as over at Nikon - few native lenses and no third-party ones. At least the RF 16mm makes sense then.

If they can make a pancake 20-40f4 full frame why they wouldn't do a pancake 18-45f3.5-5.6 APS-C??
Although I hate it but I had to buy again Sony 16-50 collapsible , a 18-45 pancake would be more than welcome otherwise 20-40f4 is a way better choice
