There seems to be a lot of love and hate for this new system.

I'm ambivalent about it. The AF system sounds exciting. However it's a small sensor, and a new line of lenses with no upgrade path. Prices seem very high too.

I do see a market for it. I think it'll compete very well against the G12 and bridge cams, as well as Oly pen and Sony nex.

I hope Canon comes out with a mirrorless system with an APSC sensor and EFS lens mount. I'm not sure why Nikon decided to manufacture an entirely new line of sensors and lenses. Why not use what's already in production and keep prices down that way?
