Thanks, miro.
I might try to reshoot the image, not sure when, though. The light you see here is already late afternoon light <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I'm not sure if side light would give an interesting result, but I might give it a try some day. Maybe I'm just too used to this bridge (it's just a few years younger than me) to imagine the visual appeal it might have to someone not familiar with it.
If you do a google image search for "Raiffeisenbrücke" you can find a few pictures showing the whole bridge (including a few which show it lit by night).

Last but not at least. Take care for yourself. Is is dangerous to shoot from this location? Are you close to fast moving cars or water?[/quote]
Don't worry ... lots of water, lots of fast moving cars, but lots of protection, too <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> So, no, it is not dangerous. The image above was actually shot from below and slightly left of the bridge, from a solid pavement on the riverside.
