It is more than clear that EOS 1Dx sensor is a 100% reflection of the target group (pros) who posted a clear message: we don´t want more but better pixels. All my thumbs up for that!
You are right about the "prosumer" segment - I´m afraid the megapixelization will take place here :-(, damn it. I just pray there will be space for a FF sensor body with low pixels with excellent high-iso performance too....
