I have the series E version of 135 F/2.8... It is very compact, MF ring is fine (not as good as the old/new Zeiss lenses), suffers from LaCA, has a decent bokeh, and I bought it for 120,00 EUR (second hand, in a very mint condition). As far as I can tell, the color rendition is warm. Vignetting is visable at wide open (but not a big deal)... All in all, at that price, I'm quite happy with the BQ and IQ...
The same dealer showed me the 135mm F/2.0. It was surely from a different planet... The size was huge compared to Series-E. I did not try it on because had not enough time and the price was higher than 500,00EUR (second hand, mint). Also, maybe worth to say, that the F/2 version can focus closer than the F/2.8.
The following link was posted by Sammy in our previous discussion about 135mm MF lenses. I find it very imformative...
