Look - the D700 sells a little below 50% of the D3S. If one makes the interpolation based on that assumption, the D800 should be priced under 3000€. Without this price difference, the D800 becomes too expensive and sales will really be affected. I don't believe anyone will buy a D800 for say 4000€, if the D4 can be had for 5800€. My guess is starting price of max 3000€ for the D800 and 1500 for the D400.
