.... well.... thing is that Markus looks to be spot on re. the lens appearing to be for moving pictures more than for stills, which seems to be a multimedia nikon approach now (d4 / motor zoom / face recognition etc) ..... and this is good, but i like stills, so the 10-30 & 30-110 would be the go and do look fine, as does the system ..... quality looks v good for such a system
.... but for me it's an interesting read more than a look, make comments and buy as i already have gear that does that kind of stuff, although at 4-5X the actual size of the gear .... and, for those who are not familiar with moving pictures, there might be a tad more to it than just 25 stills per second, nice but not the same
.... so, thanks Marcus for all the work (always nice to read) and i hope nikon does well with the gear - it looks good (um, picture quality wise :-) - but it's not easy to open a new segment of the market
