It will not be hard to sort by number, since the stings (XXmm, XX-XXXmm) have an easily recognizable pattern and the numbers can be gotten from the strings pretty easily.
Then just sort by shortest focal length first, and in the group of that focal length sort by the shortest "long end" focal length first.
But, I am a bit confused by the idea behind the table.
When a good lens gets a so-so rating, for reasons known to us, and someone "moans" about the rating, that someone gets told to read the whole verdict, not just the star rating. Or better, to read the whole review and not just the star rating. Which is very good advice, of course.
But then... what about that table? Then the whole reviews are reduced to that (more or less subjective) star rating, and the nuances of how good a lens is in practice are totally lost.
So... I have my doubts about how "valid" the table is.
