Why are we debating the NEX-7 here? Waste of time and space! Start a new thread if you want to continue. Does anyone complain that the M9 is bigger than the NEX-7? Let's stick to the Fuji. There is enough to debate and discuss around the new design. To me it looks like he most exciting thing that has happened to quality potography in a decade. Fuji has listened to the market and developed something many have been waiting for; DSLR quality in a smaller size. Fuji knows how to design lenses and the VF of the X100 has been a huge success. Imagine if this little camera can deliver D3s type quality? Photographers will line up to buy it. An M9 style and quality for a quarter of the price! I have preordered one and I know I wont regret it. If I get D700 quality at half the weight, I'll be a happy camper. Ant it looks like I want a modern camera to look; Contax style with todays technology and a much improved menu design from the X100. The X100 sells like hotcakes. My guess is the X-Pro 1 will too. Is it more expensive than a NEX-7? Yes, but the essence is that it is 25% of an M9 and that is the market it is going after. Leica can't keep up with demand.
