AF speed is not really that important to me. What I really care for, however, is AF accuracy. Is the accuracy of the 12-60 good on MFT?
AF accuracy is my #1 priority as it has been a major let down with my Pentax gear. Unfortunately it is inherent (to a certain degree) to the technology behind PDAF and DSLRs in general.
CDAF/mirrorless designs are definitely the future (no mirror and mechanical parts - fully electronic designs). It's simply a matter of time until DSLRs as we know it completely disappear. We are not there yet, but it will, for sure, be a reality. Probably sooner than we think.
