Yeah, this and the "spent some effort into the design" - shouldn't it be "put some effort into..." or "spent some efforts designing..." I can tell you were upset Klaus, since even the near center performance is on an unprecedented (low) level at f/1.4... I would've expected this level of suckage from the Canon EF 50/1.2 lens which is a known soap machine but not from a modern lens designed from scratch.
