I was considering this lens to use on APS-c as portrait lens however the main issue with the old lens was frequent focus errors making it practically unusable for portraits mainly at f1.8 that's why I shifted for the 1.4 sister which is absolutely wonderful, one if the best I have ever used except for focus motor reliabilty, Till now I changed the micromotor twice in six years... 150$ each time, that's why I was considering switch, how did you find focus accuracy mainly on moving objects ??
