On the 6D, the AF speed is just fine. Just the 40mm f2.8 STM is a geared STM implementation (like the EF-M 22mm f2 and the EF-S 24mm f2.8), which makes it not the fastest of AF-ing lenses. And selecting an AF point via the cursor group or even the back wheel is fast enough, really. The 6D is a pretty damn nice camera, calling it utter trash... is utter nonsense. 

 

Seeing how you love the Loxias on the A7x... How is that AF speed working for you   B)

Loxia is a properly implemented manual lens as far as I've seen others. Lovely lovely, I still dream of it. Seamless integration with the focus peaking is possible. Move the ring & it activates it (magnified or not, ...). I was actually surprised to see myself trying to track the little model train coming at me. Not that you could track moving subjects with manual focus, but close enough. Which is quite cool to me.

 

Other persistent feeling : I dream of Fuji at night. X-T1...
