The superzoom was inevitable. I thought only Fuji has so far resisted the temptation, although from a purist's perspective, they've been "degrading" steadily - from starting out with a 35/1.4 ("Fast primes! Yippee!") lens to doing a 18-55/2.8-4 ("Alright... at least it's one stop faster than the norm!") to 16-50/3.5-5.6 ("Boohoo... it sucks but at least it goes to 16mm...") I can imagine the uproar if Fuji X system jumps on the superzoom bandwagon sooner or later...
Ahem. The 28/2 and 35/1.4 look interesting, although the latter has already caused quite a bit of criticism over at FredMiranda.com - for being "too damn large". Guess there's no pleasing some people, as the very same inhabitants of FM's Alternative gear section have crucified the FEZA 35/2.8 for being "too damn slow" less than a year ago...
