Still I'm not sure you can "read" much of that cutout image. I do remember reading during the whole "hum" story that the hum came from the gyroscope and/or some parts related to the new IS unit located in that hump. When you hear it, it just comes from that hump. I'll try and find old posts about it but I must agree it's nothing 100% confirmed though.



But what I see here is how many lenses are involved in the EVF. The whole unit is as deep as the body depth.

Your argument about giving the next E-P is interesting. Anyway, with the price of the E-PL5 having gone up over the E-PL3 and the E-M5 having come down in price there is presently not enough space for another model. So an E-P5 coming later might have some mileage. We will see.



What I learned about the E-PL5 so far, not having a second dial, possibly no orientation sensor and a simplified IS is putting me off a bit of the one.
