next PZ lens test report: Fujinon XF 60mm f/2.4 R macro

I'm a bit surprise by the high rating on build quality. There has been some complaints on the web that the lens will self disassemble. As far as I can tell from the descriptions; it sounds like something on the front easily unscrews and then the whole thing falls apart; not sure how prevalent; there were at least two reported instances. As far as I can tell this was specific to the 60 but not really sure if it is inherient to the 60's design or perhaps the distance it travels during auto focus.

The other complaint I have read is that there is some weird in camera processing (perhaps as part of noise reduction) so in landscape images with busy backgrounds (trees) you can get weird artifcats.



Mind you the samples you have look quite lovely and the majority of the images I've seen look very nice (not sure if yours are jpeg out of camera or post processed); but the images out of cameras generally look quite nice ('cept for red which can be quite weird; I've noticed that none of your images have deep reds).
