I think f/8 images look very decent for such a compact WA (though, lot's of CA as expected). And also bokeh qualifies in all wide aperture shots...
Nevertheless, with that price tag it won't be easy to compete with the new Nikon 28mm f/1.8G. And there's also the good old Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AiS.
