I think resolution is not enough here <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />...

... well, i've been looking a lot at teeth while doing people-post editing just now, and these are looking good, they must be american, they seem to have good teeth over there - but in my own case i expect caps wouldn't look so natural anyhow - so i'll not be taking perfect teeth to my grave then -

... and, you can't say what has been done in processing these pix, but to me it doesn't look excessive, and for me the rez looks quite natural and good - nice skin texture available - but i also think it is a fairly typical sony look, so the light areas (face) can be improved with suitable curves to give more apparent sharpness and detail (this i do for my 900 on similar shots - sony do it! you know you want to) - anyhow with light like this, this is probably as good as it gets with that lens - i wonder if they are thinking that people won't be using the cz's with this camera? -

there was an interesting post up on dprev - smallish pix but i thought once again for photojourno shots, typical and good (in these conditions) - (click on 'dprev' back there for the link)

solong for now <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

edit -

oh, and ps. - didn't mention it here because it's unrelated to this post, but for the record, looking at various pix, and not having taken my own with this camera, i'm not too happy with the residual grain at any iso in pictures i've seen - it just doesn't look appealing to me and so far (for me) is difficult to remove without damaging the picture - just a thought - hopefully it's tweakable by dear sony? -

- but having said this, it's hard to be sure about the 'look' with other peoples pictures - you don't know how they've been shot or processed . . .
