If so, you need to make your mind as to features/ergonomics that YOU need <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> From the listed cameras I own the D7000 and so far I like it a lot, not a single problem with it.. Different colour rendition though, when compared to the D700 and also a slight propensity to overexposing in very bright light (matrix metering), neither being a problem really, very good battery (about 1400 raws in a mildly cold environment). Survives a mild rain without a problem as well.
The 5100 has the same sensor, different firmware, very good alternative if you don't need D7000-specific features..
