Hallo Manny! My vote goes to Nikon 70-300vr. Only reason is compatibility problem could occur. I have only experienced with mentioned 70-300VR and not exactly comparable 70-200VR (first edition). The last one (I use it for last couple of years) is definitely sharper and has more contrast. It is also mach more expensive and heavier, unfortunately. I also have 1.4 teleconverter but I use it rarely.
