And for very sure I can say it's much better in terms of bokeh fringing than the bigger 85/1.4 G brother. Bokeh is a matter of taste. What good is a smooth bokeh if I see lots of purple and green lines in the model's hair in frontlight?
The countless forum posts about the LoCA problems of the AF-S 85mm f1.8 are not made up, and of people wondering if they have a faulty copy (answer: no, the LoCA they get is normal for this lens).

I wrote "it's better than it's bigger brother 85/1.4G" and I still see less CA in the f/1.8 version.
