Not sure if its the "new" or "old" version, but Lenstip has tested a 50/1.2.

In a nutshell: very soft at the widest apertures, but improves so rapidly on stopping down that a resolution record is broken at f/4. I think there had been another Voigtländer lens that already did just that...
