To uhmm.. Leica's defence  :blink: , it is not a 50mm lens. And a more comprehensive, with 4 aspherical lenses, and 10 elements. And uhmm.. what else. Oh yes, it is pretty much a bespoke item, being available in two finishes and only for the Leica T, which then may mean there will only be 1 sample per finish since no-one is buying Leica T  .

 

And what else. Oh yeah, it is 500$ cheaper than the 5mm shorter in focal length Zeiss Otus 55mm f1.4  B)
