Somehow I had no doubt you would do just that.

 

  It always goes like this when hunting around for gear, as soon as I purchased the "D"  an "S" turns up at the same price.

 The good side of this sort of lens buying though is if you don't like what you have just bought you can sell it on without losing money.

 

  With all these new FF Nikons bodies these older FF lenses are going up in value!
