The shift function will serve me well in APS-C, that's still 22.5 mm and pretty wide. On the Photo Rumors site this is also confirmed. My other concern is, how do I bring enough light between lens and subject and how to focus on ground level? I think I will have to use CamRanger more oftem. IQ-wise I don't expect miracles but the sample pictures were not too bad. Although I didn't find any EXIF data within the JPGs, but perspective and angle appeared to look believable.

 

Anyway, I like a bug's perspective and am looking forward to it. I don't expect more performance than a lensbaby would deliver.
