Interesting report from the Zeiss stand at Photokina

Look at the photo of coffee cup.

The loxia Biogon 35 performs much better than the ZM Biogon 35 on the A7R.

 

It seems that the Loxia would be ZM formulas with added compensation for sensor glass thikness.

Now lets hope for a Loxia 21mm.

My Biogon 21/2.8 is super sharp in the center on A7R, but with horrible color smear & softness in the corners.
