The Voigtländer 35/1.7 looks interesting. Hopefully they keep the price at a reasonable level (unlike with their recent lenses).

Talking about the price: the ZM 35/1.4 is approaching Leica levels in this regard, it seems...

Anyway: both will certainly be worth a short look in Cologne.

I wonder, without a reasonably-priced Leica camera, how much sense do those Leica-third-party lenses make??


...Yes I know Zeiss and Voiglander lenses are popular for Leica users.

Greed is contagious. Smile Seriously, the "third parties" (seeing Zeiss relegated to this role in the Leica never ceases to amuse me) likely see that Leica is sending prices through the roof, and thinking that they need to follow as long as they can, provided that they are keeping a decent distance (which still means sky-high prices for the laymen like us).
