Not quite as fast but full format. And the MFT gang has further options from Voigtlander anyway.

The SLRMagic didn't work so well on the NEX 7 ...

All is relative. I hardly expect you to think that this lens will be sharper off-center than the SLRMagic at wide apertures. But at least the SLRMagic is sharp in the center, and not too bad overall on the M9 (relatively speaking, again). This Kipon is still a big unknown.

Do you mean the one announced for MFT? It's a much slower lens and only available for MFT.

I'm sure it's gonna be great optically and sufficient for most shallow DOF work
