....and they are lovely impressions too - my faves are the first and second last.....and the 2nd 3rd 4th and last - the first looks almost like a natural effect - ta for the look m

No, this was with the D7000 and two Sigma lenses (10-20 and 17-70 OS).
 
First two shots and #5 are at 10mm. One really needs such a wide lens in there.

The "Big Air Package" is an installation by artist Christo, which you may know from other works like "The Gates" in NY's Central Park or the wrapping of Pont Neuf or the German Reichstag building.


It's an inflated envelope (or call it a large balloon, around 90m in height) that almost completely fills the Gasometer building.

Thanks. It's the Sigma EX 10-20/4-5.6 at 10mm. The distortion of the white/gray shapes is in the subject and not coming from the lens Wink

Thanks, so that is a 15mm equivalent, if I am right.  I never had anything that wide.
