Anyone care to speculate why Canon can't get its support software for cameras up to a practical level?  ZoomBrowser: upgrades made it incompatible with my *new* camera, needs graphics settings downgraded in order to open.  ImageBrowser: again graphics must be downgraded to high color, takes eons to add photos downloaded from camera (and I have very high end hardware).  Why no support for tru-color or multicore?

 

Are things this bad in Nikontown?  Sonyland?
