Latest Nikon lens tests: why APS-C test bed?

I don't understand why you would chose to test FX lenses on a DX body, especially expensive primes such as the 85 and 24. You don't get the true measure of the lens this way I would think.

Because the 24 and the 85 have already been tested on an FX body, I believe.

As Rover already said, those lenses have already been tested on FX here. But testing on the D3x does not necessarily give an indication, how the tested lens will behave on a DX camera (with higher pixel density).
