Again and again, and again. I suspect you cannot use any laptop other than a touch-screen tablet or convertible. This is a hard restriction, and whether it's optimal for photography becomes second-order consideration. E.g. you must look for "suitability", not "optimality" in photo-editing, while ergonomics is the major factor.

I found there's a raw developer for iPad (http://pirawnha.files.wordpress.com/2010...l_v1-1.pdf); very slow but it will at least do the job for you.
