When to expect the Samyang 24mm TS
#1
Hi All,

Does anybody know when we can expect the Samyang 24mm Tilt/shift lens?

I am curious how it compares to my Canon 24mm TS-E 3.5 I.

Best wishes,

Reinier

Hi,

All I know is that the Samyang 10mm WA lens has been delayed till the end of the year, due to a change of optical formula, maybe there will be an announcement at CP in a few days,it will be interesting to see the price-point of both of these lenses.

The TS is due in March (unless it's postponed again)

I thought this Samyang 10mm is dead in the water before the release already because the Tokina 11-16 looks a much better lens overall (has AF and zoom, accepts filters, is sharp and cheap)? That they sent it to redesigning probably means they understand this as well, and chose to take their time and roll out something so optically stellar to well and truly demolish even the Tokina 11-16. (now, how likely is this?)

We got a guidance for April.

Fair enough; I had no inside source and just heard about March on a forum.
