Subjective opinions of testers or what do they actually use in real life

Thus I'm combining slow-speed standard zoom lenses with a high speed prime.

That's exactly what I have done with my Nikon gear (18-105 and 35mm 1.8).

But unfortunately there is no really good slow-speed zoom lens for m43. In that regard m43 is still lacking.

Nikon does have great slow-speed standrad zooms (18-105 & 16-85) as well as Canon.

I'm in the need of a standard travel zoom for Februar and I'm not very happy with my Olympus 12-50.

Range and aperture wise this lens is good enough for me but the image quality (sharpness & contrast) is lacking.

The most obvious choice seems to be the 12-35, albeit I already have a PanaLeica 25 1.4, so the speed is not too terribly needed...

And 920 Euro is an awful lot of money...

There have been rumors that Olympus is planning to deliver a 12-60 but so far ...

That would be exactly the lens I'm waiting for desperately.

But unfortunately this lens is rumored for more than a year now and it's still not clear if it will ever be released....
