Some changes behind the scenes
#12
[quote name='mst' timestamp='1355480763' post='21182']

While PZ has been rather quite recently in terms of new reviews, some things have happened nonetheless, mostly behind the scenes, which I'd like to share:

- It's pretty old news for any fairly regular visitor here, but I'll mention it nonetheless to start the list of changes: Klaus and his girl-friend Beate managed to make one of their dreams come true by moving to Australia. Good luck down-under, mate [Image: smile.gif]

- for a few weeks already Sebastian and Anja are proud parents of a marvellous boy. Congrats!

- Klaus' move to Oz required some changes on the business side of photozone. If you have a look at our Impressum page (does anybody actually ever read those pages? [Image: wink.gif] ) you'll see that PZ has not moved to Australia, but has turned into a company run by both Klaus and me, located at my home adress.

I'd like to use this opportunity to publicly say thank you to Klaus for building and running PZ for many years, but especially for the team he has chosen to expand the site and the level of trust he puts in the team members. Thx, Klaus.

- Talking about the team... if you ever wondered, what we all look like:

To my knowledge, this page contains the only existing image showing all 3 PZ team members at once [Image: smile.gif]

Hi Markus,

Thanks for this update. I like to extend my best wishes to all of you for your new roles (private and in photozone).

Considering the impressum, at least I tend to read it every now and them, though I hadn't spotted the latest change.

I also like to express my gratitude to Klaus for developing and maintaining this web-community. Sometimes I am wondering whether I am actually the longest serving forum member here. I remember reading reading photozone as far back as 1996 or there about (+/- a year.), when photozone was in it's infancies. Back then (before the invention of well working search engines) to me, photozone was the best photographic link list I knew. Shortly afterwards it carried the famous "Signifcant malfunctions" - that was really famous on the web back then. To this day I do not own any of their products. Photozone is essentailly the only website from back then, which I regularly frequent - well over 15 years now.

So keep up the good work and good luck to all of you.

Joachim
enjoy
