Well, according to Markus' logic, Leica M is like bike, a FX DSLR is like a car, (usually) a bike is certainly cheaper than a car. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Seriuously, I understand that Leica M is an art product, and it is a pleasure to use it. But this art product has a serious flaw: the image censor (the heart of a digital camera). As far as I know the sensor of the M-9 is not good at all compared to most modern DSLR's sensors. The new M has a new sensor. Even the new sensor is proved to be excellent it still cannot be considered as an art sensor I think.
If someone enjoys manual focusing and the process of taking a photo etc I believe he/she will enjoy using a Leica M, I think.
Best regards,
Frank
