Exactly what I thought when I saw the images.
I had the 135/1.8 in M42 several years ago. I gave it away for the same things I see in
these images. Nervous bokeh at times, and a loss of contrast wide open. ... and
very hard to focus manually on the small crop-1.6 screen of a 300D.
Ok, the comparison to the 135L is certainly not fair, since the Canon lens costs
several times more ... nevertheless ... the 135L would be one of the very last
lenses I would sell.
Anyhow ... the 135/1.8 does take dreamy images ... and the bokeh is okish, as long
as there are no highlights in the background. On the other side, I wouldn't pay the
price that it goes for on e*ay.
