Every single lens has advantages and this one is no exception. It can be size, weight, price, MFD, AF motor, BQ, VFM etc. My main point about this lens is that it's slow (for a non-macro prime in that FL). I mean, it's double the price of the 50/1.8 and 1.5 stops slower. For me, that makes it [color="#FF00FF"]very[/color] unattractive. However, from the amount of enthusiastic replies I understand I'm in he minority.
