This is a current product - there is nothing vintage about it me thinks. Perhaps retro styling and definitely not integrated into he Sony's micro-circuitry.

Well, "vintage" in terms of "classic", not outdated.

Even Cosina calls it a "Classic Edition" lens.

I think it's very interesting to see how these "classic" lenses perform on modern cameras.

One day, please also also test some M42 lenses such as Takumar 50/1.4 & 85/1.8 and CZJ Flektogon 35/2.4 <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

That's all good, but shouldn't the two Sigma lenses be higher priority for the review? They are more popular.

The tests are primarily driven by availability (from our perspective).

Yes, and the Heliar has been offered 3 months ago.
