I gave you two links, far more credible than your "links", DPR studio shots (50mm F1.8) and IR studio shots (70mm Sigma F2.8). They don't show any "corner" differences -- if anything Nex-7 retains higher resolution than 5N.

So, are you actually claiming DPReview shoots studio shots to test a camera with a lens wide open?

Really? Is that your claim?

Again, it appears that the NEX-7 sensor shows to have problems in edges/corners with:

- wide angle lenses (most evident at least), probably more pronounced with E-mount and range finder lenses than with A-mount

- at big apertures.



Obfuscating is a better word for your examples. The Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro is an A-mount lens. It is not wide angle. Nor does its aperture open very wide. And DPreview's studio shots are not done wide open. So why would one look for the reported problem in those images?
